Viravaxx AG is a privately held company based in Vienna, Austria. Together with the Medical University of Vienna it has developed completely new concepts for preventive and therapeutic vaccines and companion diagnostics for infectious diseases.

One flagship project is a vaccine against Hepatitis B. The newly developed vaccine is a step towards the therapeutic as well as prophylactic use of vaccination against chronic hepatitis B. The vaccine has already been tested successfully in clinical studies.
